Could you tell me who you have phoned to get a deal through Leisure Lakes?

I've just applied for C2W through Halfords, but they don't really have anything I want (Hybrid/trekker). Have seen a couple of high-spec crackers under £500 on LL so would love to get one of those if possible. Any help much appreciated.

Basically I just spoke to a guy at my local Leisure Lakes store, confirmed they would accept the voucher and then telephoned the people at the C2W scheme to make sure it was ok to pick my bike up from Leisure Lakes. They told me not to worry about it at the moment and to phone them once I had received the voucher to let them know and confirm where I would be picking the bike up from.

First port of call though will be to contact your local LL store so that they can order in the bike you want!

Was very keen on reduced price Scott (£499), with Deore and Tiagra groupset, but I think it's gone already

Will have a butchers again for the other one that looked quite nice.

Have to say this an excellent deal if it comes off. Just try to wangle half an hours OT each week for the next year and a bit, and it's a free bike

Morning posties , let me introduce myself , I am the Sprocketjockey , and i have some stuff to do with cycle to work,just thought i'd come on and see how we're doing in serving your cycle to work needs,some good , some bad so here goes....
ok people,so some of you may have had problems with Halfords,from time to time we will always have problems with whoever we deal with , try speaking to the Cycle Sales Manager,you will hopefully get a better job done , they are the main people to speak to regarding your C2W application , with regards to how long we will hold your bike,its a long time,try doing it the way i do in my store,
1 come in and get advice and help choosing the bike for you
2 decide on any accesories you may need or require and add them onto the account also,with many deals on three for two offers and other offers available you will receive a double benefit of getting you C2W discount across your WHOLE ORDER not just your bike
3 get them to do a deposit free open order (I rack my orders until 25th of december and mark them all C2W do not cancel for reference )
4 when all this is done you will have an itemised receipt with a sum total , you can now go and apply for your voucher knowing exactly how much you need, remember, always apply for a voucher as near to, but not less than, the total as possible

5 and finally , when you get the LOC voucher , just give the store you placed the order at a call and tell them you have a C2W on order and ask them when you can have your bike , the phone number will be on the top of the receipt and the barcode at the top will have a number starting 800 , this is all the info they need.24-48 hrs later (staff and time allowing) you shold be able to ride away on your bike with any accesories fitted.

Please remember your orders are of utmost importance to us , and , as a valued customer (and C2W) we will try to do our best possible job to facilitate your requirements .......

whilst LL have loads listed,many are out of stock
I was looking at the Spesh Allez
I went for the boardman instead for my commute and I'll pick up a 2nd hand road bike for fun

however Ive just noticed my MTB has a crack in the seatpost and the Boardman is unlikely to be in stock till the end of the month
