Dog that "only wants to be friendly" bites man's nose off.

Another dog attack. Not on one of us this time, hence it being posted in here. Another clueless owner who said the dog "only wants to be friendly" just before it disgures a man for life, and who's only subsequent concern was that the dog is not destroyed.

I get a lot of " he only wants to be friendly" or "don't worry mate he's all mouth, he wouldn't hurt you" on my duty. In almost every case it's a Staffie or a Rottweiler that looks like it's just waiting to tear my face off as i go through the gate. Needless to say I always wait at the gate for the owner to come and get their mail. I would say that there are approximately 40 addresses on my walk with Staffie's.. Bit of an... untidy area shall we say..

True, the reason the 'tattoed f*ckwits' get them is because they are very loyal and will defend you to death (usually theirs)..............usually making up for other inadequacies in their lives.
