I actually did get the math wrong. Forgot about a day off, just workrd on sundays off. Should of used 261 days. which gives £809 100 000 and a new overall total of £887 100 000. Still not to be sniffed at though.

You forgot to work out what they would save (make) by delivering peoples post 3 days per week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday :sad:

Sorry but the basic premise of your argument - that the company who takes on the pension deficit will get RM cheap - is flawed - Its written into the new Act that the Government will take on the historical deficit and fund. My guess is that as soon as they do we will all be put into a new and less beneficial scheme. Probably a money purchase scheme.
