Colleague shares and PO counter staff

Post by Jynxx »

Just been to my local Post Office to pay a couple of bills and was informed by someone i chat to on a regular basis that all the post office counter staff have just recieved a colleague share lump sum of £600.

I asked if she was certain if the bonuses she gets and the one's we "should" recieve are the same and she assured me that they are as she also recieved a stupid colleague shares cerificate through the post years ago.

I'm not sure if she was mistaken but if this is correct are Moya and her crew doing this just to intentionally p*** us off so we'll all go on strike and turn the public against us or something or just to say that we should be sold off as we're not making any money while the post office is or something....

Little bit irritated either way :confused

I doubt it will be Shares money, probably some target being met for their arm of the business.

It is colleagueshares but 2 points:

1. Its part of a pay deal including last year and this year.
2. It matches the colleague share payouts we get, or have got, under the various revisions under the BT2010 deal.

So yes they did get it paid last month but they are not getting any more, or indeed any less, than we have done (or will do).

In fact there is an LTB explaining it all and a discussion of it at http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... es#p371072" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
