postal delivery querie

Post by stevieS »

Hi I bought an item from ebay on the 20th april it was boxed and weighed 950Grams and measures approx 12'' x 4'' and was posted 1st class standard postage(even thought i paid enough for express delivery)
But iv'e not recieved it yet. i know post would be slow due to bank holidays just need this item asap.
Iv'e also received similar items items bought days after that came from further away. Item in question was sent from mitcham in surry to margate in kent.(so not too far)
What id like to know if possible is would this be delivered by the Postman or royal main man in van.

its rougly border line for a driver or walker to take that, so would be hard to tell, as for when it should come, you should really have recieved it by now, i would say though if the ebay seller has charged you for express delivery and not bothered to send it that way, then chances are he has probably been a little slow to post it and may not have actually sent it to you on the 20th....

Contact the seller with regards to this. Make sure it has been posted on said date. If it's been sent recorded etc etc. Failing that raise a dispute with paypal.

Smaller than a shoe box by bike,
Larger than a shoe box by van,
that's what the guideline has been.

parcelforce tracking numbers parcels are all tracked at all points, if they dont have the number on their system they probably havent recieved it yet, just a point, if it has been sent parcel force 48 as the service this actually means 3 working day delivery not 48hrs or 4 days if you live in remote parts of scotland

Also noticed when I was getting something delivered by PF24 that weekends don't count. The last number I had from them was strange. I expected a tracking number like that of RM but got one that started with PBLB123456789. Dunno if that helps you with the tracking number or if it's the older style 13 digit one like you get with RM.

As you've still not received this item, I would contact the seller as first port of call, then raise a claim from paypal.

RM deliver parcels as well but we don't have a service that is specifcally 48 hours or has 48 in the name, as far as I am aware.
