Post Office Campaign - Tuesday 15th May

Further to LTB 360 this LTB is to confirm that we have been able to obtain a room at the House of Commons for the above date. The exact format is still being determined but the event will take place between 6-8pm in the House of Commons, Committee Room 14. Further details to follow.

In May 2007 Germany will assume presidency of the European Union. Uni (The International Union Confederation to which the CWU is affiliated) is organising a lobby of European postal workers in Berlin on May 30th. CWU headquarters will be sending a delegation. Branches may also wish to send a delegation to Berlin.

This LTB is to alert Branches to the above date and could you please indicate the General Secretary’s office by no later than Friday 4th May with an intend to send the representatives to one or both of these events. Further details will be sent in due course.
