Does any one have any imformation on time to clean your van inside and out is it built in your duty?

There is no fixed time or frequency for vehicle cleaning as this is not a legal requirement. The 'drivers manual' states that vehicles should be cleaned as necessary, but drivers should always ensure that the windows and mirrors etc are clean and fit-for-purpose. As such no fixed time is expected to be built into driving duties for vehicle cleaning. Instead managers should adopt a pragmatic approach by ensuring that drivers perform this task on light traffic days in the spirit of flexibility.

Rest breaks at work

A worker is entitled to an uninterrupted break of 20 minutes when daily working time is more than six hours. It should be a break in working time and should not be taken either at the start, or at the end, of a working day.
