Just thought I'd introduce myself to you. I will be having my induction early this week, and start the next day at my DO. Pretty excited about working for Royal Mail as an OPG. After years of working inside and watching the sun come up and go down each day from our office windows, I CAN'T wait to get started.
I'll be on a Temp 6 month Contract 30hrs. Anyway, hubby is a postie as well and loves it, going near 25years. It's taken 6 months for a role to appear in my area (other than the DO where hubby works 
) so when one appeared I latched onto it and hoped I'd get through to the assessments. I found this site ages ago and have been lurking ever since, until I actually joined after my interview was scheduled. I have read so many threads and was gathering info to help me to get through the assessments and with my newly aquired role. I have already told my other postie mates about the site so hopefully they will also join. Thanks for the forum, its a great place to get help, and advice!!
Anyway, just wanted to say that am thoroughly enjoying my role. Love the job! No complaints from me. People are great, DOM is great, just wish I had done this long ago. Better late than never!
