Don't get involved in any roll out of any world class mail from now on.
Make sure revisions take time (after 28th April).
The pension is screwed.
The 3.5% pay rise next is in doubt

Start to prepare for strike action, things are only going to get worse.

Even the London reps seemed down beat and except that compulsary redundancies are coming but as soon as the first one is done we will be on the gate.

The union at national level needed to send out the strongest message every that they are up for the fight and will not take any more s**t, but i'm sorry this didn't shine through.



Maybe after the 28th which is the date they have given the business to have had new talks and make solutions things will chage, But words need to get stronger and action needs to be taken.

Thank you Geezer for posting the CWU response to the Colleague shares debacle, the probably full ??
transcript of which can be seen on his posting, although there do appear to be areas where some text may have been omitted, as at the end of para. 9.

9. We will insist that the company opens up the books for an independent assessment of its finances and Colleagueshare valuations. We will pursue a need for an independent assessment of the real value of the company and all of its assets in line with normal business practice.

In respect of the above paragraph, I would have thought that, if the company refuses to open up its books for an independent assessment of its finances and Colleagueshare valuations a complaint might be made to the relevant authority (Fraud Squad?) and the services of a forensic accountancy firm employed to elicit the true state of affairs within the company.

Also, the letter from Moya Greene which is alluded to in the document and which

makes interesting reading

would also be of great interest to the rest of us but it appears the we are just the workers who are not to be privy to it.

If the CWU is to have any credibility at all among its members they need to make a stand now and INSIST that the books are independently inspected and, if RM has nothing to hide, they should agree to this.

no thats true,but the removal of D2D payments and introduction of delivery supplement was a straight pay cut for me
I was on a 900 call duty at that time
spin it how you like,its a pay cut for most in delivery and with the lift in the cap on D2Ds an increase in workload with the same swipe

A 900 CALL DUTY?
You didnt sign for that duty surely!!
