Well although Ward emphasises the valuation of 1400, that is the total share issue value for 2011 AND 2012 so the real time value is £700 for 2011....now how many days would the strike action take to lose that amount of money? It would in fact be industrial action on a principle..................and principles haven't been too extant in union affairs of late.

I think legal action is way forward not industrial action.

The question is weather the 2010 agreement is worth the paper its written on and is it legally binding

Obviously royal mail have been cooking the books if things are this bad i say Moya's had should roll record profits then she takes over and epic losses she is destroying the business it seems.

as there is no money in the kity for our agreement shoud we now not be absorbing and probebly only doing 3 lots of door to door as for industrial action i will never strike again as the fat cats at union hq are only linning there own pockets off our backs we have done every thing asked of us

If RM has paid out £1400 to staff who have left recently then then that means that they have forcast the shares still being worth the same ammount in 2012, because any staff who have left should only have got £700 for 2011 and £700 for 2012 because the buy back of shares is over 2 years, so that means RM has projected growth for this year and next, the CWU ought to be asking RM this question?

Very sceptical about our Mr ward. Im sure before the deal of the century last year. He was acting all militant (ACTING ) being the key word. Then managed to some how agree to the worst deal ever. This time he will probably negotiate for us to pay royal mail back a % of our wages each week. On the promise of a big pay out in 2012

Imo , industrial action would play straight into RMs' hands. They know that support would be divided , paricularly when a fair percentage don't qualify for the shares anyway. Work to rule,overtime ban, non co-operation ( not sure if these are classed as industrial action?), could all have an impact and piss them off even more.
