REHABILITATION PLAN
Im currently on a rehabilation plan and have been told that there is no work for me in my office and I will have to go to another office for work over 40 miles away. Is there any rule about how far royal mail can expect an employee to travel??

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Thanks for the document. It does say they can send you elsewhere within a local area. I don't consider 40 miles to be local.
It was a back injury so I wouldn't really want to drive that far each day anyway.

Now they are saying I will have to travel 40 miles to a different office so 80 miles in total a day and will have to work nights!!??

In Scotland, they cannot reasonably expect you to travel more than 23 miles. do not know about England.
