Re: colleague shares??
What less than a year after the all inclusive deal of the century the finger pointing has started -" it's all RMGs fault, we are just gullible fools taken in on a promise of trust" - well guess what this deal is going to come and bite the likes of dingo and his ilk in the arse and deservedly so. The membership in its not so infinite wisdom thought the union was "in the loop" - sadly that proved to be a million miles from the truth. As for fighting for the membership, someones memory is short lived because anyone who recommended this deal was definitely not fighting for the membership.

Re: colleague shares??
Why? - because some people get off by feeling important - those who pay for their privileges of higher pay, perks and expenses are not important enough.feduppostie wrote:no it's not enough Dingo

I would agree fishtank if they had just posted ' have heard there will be an annoucement on Tuesday regarding the value of colleague shares'fishtank wrote:You are venting your anger in the wrong direction fed up.

short and sweet and no speculation
but by saying that it is bad and we have been conned it implies they know damn well what it is but they are not going to tell us as we are not 'allowed' to know (whereas they obviously are being terribly important and all that)
it's the old I know something you don't saga all over again and I hate it
all it does it inflate a feeling of importance - I know something you don't

Why be worried? What we've never had we'll never miss as my old grandma used to say. It was, as we were so often told, a new beginning with trust at the forefront.......................well I never trusted Royal Mail and I no longer trust a union that cannot control its own affairs let alone negotiate with a major player for the pay and conditions of its membership.Drake wrote:Just how worried should we be Dingo?

Worried because of the fact he states things are going to get 'WORSE' I mean apart from them binning us all can it get any worse?
And we all knew the colleague share thing was a con from the word go.

Re: colleague shares??
maybe on tuesday the announcement will be sorry royal mail are not paying up were bankrupt paying all management bonus's and moya's renumeration package ha ha ha we conned you all to vote yes, and the union now can no longer fight for your rights as their membership is at an all time low almost all my office quit paying their subs in disgust at how we are currently being treated with misinformation and lies coming from all sides. The Deal stinks deliveries were sold out CWU HQ hang your heads in shame. We had management to account and we let them wringle away back to their bullying ways.

Re: colleague shares??
I quit after the deal of the century was voted in
the result I may still get shafted but I no longer pay for the privilage
and before anyone starts on but where wouold we be without the union - conditions, pay, bonuses etc then tell me since I left what exactly have the union secured fo you - nothing that I haven't got as well
I have always been loyal to the union since I started but after the last deal, no thank you
anyway back on topic
any reply Dingo?

Re: colleague shares??
Be honest guys and girls, what else did you expect?
The CWU has been on a roller coaster of self destruction since 2007 and maybe even before that.
They can talk and rhyme off all the facts and figures they want. However over the last 4 years this union has proved it is totally out of touch of the members they're supposedly representing.
I honestly can not recall anything from the last 4 years the Union has done which has benefited me in either my working or personal life. They have talked plenty but actions speak louder than words.
39 hour week? Still waiting.
Cars banned on delivery? Still waiting.
More Saturdays off? Still waiting.
Unlimited D2D items? Implemented.
Early shift allowance scrapped and replaced with a delivery supplement for the unlimited D2D items? Implemented.
Colleague Shares? You do the maths.......
So what benefits have I gained?
Pretty simple really, eh?
None.

Re: colleague shares??
I just hope all the short-sighted moneygrabbers who voted 2010 in are happy now, most offices have recieved little,or none of their revision monies, and now it seems the same is true of the CS "cashcow".Thats what you get for trusting the RM/CWU coaltion....and you thought the ConDems were bad
same as it ever was...
