daz more chance the cs shares being endorsed than the cwu in our office anyway . we haven't heard a peep from the union in months our office ratesthem as hightly as management and they are pish poor, even cwu website has a repeat of the fat twins shouting throught a loud hailer , nearer the conference we 'll hear something so they don't feel guilty spending our subs

Technically - 100% correct - all the shares that are going to be issued have been already.

Its the payout of the shares currently held that is causing a small amount of discussion.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the "phantom shares" may be converted into real shares? It would explain the long silence, and it would (to a degree) minimise the cash needed by RMG to pay us the ColleagueShares money that "we are due".

A guy who medical retired got a share pay out last week close to £1500,
maybe theres hope for a holiday 4 me and the mrs after all

What about those that have joined since the allocations, would that mean they have no CS, so they get no real shares? If they do get shares, what about us that have been in since the first allocation, will we get more shares to reflect our longer loyalty & greater efforts? However you look at it, any share conversion is a f***ing minefield, and a significent amount of the workforce will be losers, and despite their previous form, I can't see the union signing up to split the membership that badly ( again....for a while, at least....I hope

I got this info as well.
They left the business and so would have received their total share entitlement, ours would be in two payments or half this year and half next year and as is often quoted - "shares can go up and down"

If the last official valuation was £1.51/share, and most full-timers have been issued 710 shares, that would explain why the 2010 agreement spoke of two payments of £536

2 x £536 = £1072 (virtually the same as 710 x £1.51, which comes to £1072.10)

If discodevil's info is accurate, the 2011 valuation must have completed (but not yet announced), because the 'couple of lads' have been paid more than the shares were worth at the last officially-declared valuation. If the new valuation hasn't been completed, those guys would have got a payout based solely on the last known valaution, and thus received £1072, surely ??

So, we should get £722.50 this year, and £722.50 in 2012, surely ?

Only if you value the shares at over £2 each which would mean that the company's value had increased by over 35% in one year.
Possible?...anything is possible.....Likely?...not really.
