our driver who collects the missort run from manchester mail centre has been saying that all week the staff down there were complaining that we are not going to get anything.he then spoke to one of the union reps there who confirmed that something is in the pipeline,as royalmail cant afford to pay all the staff there share money.they only have 2 weeks working capital to call upon.our drivers a decent lad so theres no reason for him to lie.

not true, I was finished on IHR in october. told would get my shares payment the week after i was paid my lump sum, when I didnt get it I rang Hr and was told they had been put on hold since august. I rang again in january and was told they are recalculating the value, I would not be forgotton but they could not give a date when they would be paying them out. will keep ringing.

Yea was probably before last aug that we heard of people getting theirs. Still doesn't seem right that we should be penalized for not leaving before that time. Hope you get some good news soon!

Thankyou, I hope you all get what you are owed too. I worked for Rm for 20years so I know what they are like. you all work damn hard. I think its terrible how the workers are treated and the lies and empty promises from RM. its about time royal mail gave something back. dont give up, keep making a fuss. I truly believe that them who shout the loudest are the ones that are heard, not the ones who moan in the background. thats why they got rid of me ( and im still shouting lol)

Just out of interest what were the shares worth the last time they were valued?

As they are valued each year by an independent body.

Also can you sell them all this year or only half this year and half next year?

£1.51
Just_My_Opinion wrote:Are they are valued each year by an independent body.
Not sure as its an internal bonus not really a proper share scheme so not sure how independant a company valueing RM would be.

The 2010 suggest they will all be paid out half this year half next
But
The Colleagueshare stuff says you can elect to take the money this year or wait till next.

Thank you TrueBlueTerrier.

How long have they been valuing the shares to find their current value? From away last year?

When do they hope to let us know what they are worth and also if were able to sell them all in 2011 or just half?

Is it just me or has no one received anything official about the shares in years?

Since about August I think

Most rumours say fairly soon now, but could be just gossip.

About 2 years ago I think when they last issues some of them.

No.
Are they normally valued by an "independent" third party?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
