Post by goggins69 »

Can anyone tell me what I did to deserve a bonus of £14.10 this month. Described as an Insurance PPQ Bonus on my payslip

:no no

Well if that's the case then BFO, according to you, it's a lot more than us as we only got £9.00 for this which was based on the number of car insurance quotes the office got over the period paid.

The assumption that we all did nothing then is out of order. If only we could all work in an office where the quotes are not 3 times as dear as what the customer pays at the moment. They all know we work in the wrong postcode area by now and we sussed it long ago. :arrrghhh

Well done to your office, we only got £9.00 because of the postcode area our quotes are very high.I wish we got a bonus for vault cards and paystation( you have to load gas and electricity onto a key and card) you spend half the day with your back to the customer which sometimes is a good thing. Why do the postoffice take on rubbish contracts?.Remember the times when we used to get hundreds of pounds for a bonus, i can in the distant pass its probably because we never went 50-50 with the BOI.Oh well never mind at least i have got a job!!! ;liar

The trouble is, now she’s going to take revenge…

On a broader note, does this post not illustrate the absurdity of some of the half baked, poorly conceived bonus/incentive schemes we endure? A goodly proportion of people don’t know about them, some don’t have a clue how they are calculated, and a lot depends on the fortune of location and competition. In my opinion these schemes de-motivate more people than they motivate.

The essential elements of every POL incentive scheme for years. No one has a clue
