It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Well out of her comfort zone doesn't come across as one who's able to communicate without auto-cue or a draft in front of her and even then flounders (perhaps she doesn't belive the crap she's saying) but speaks with the royal fail bullshit ethos

does higson write her words for her ??? :hmmmm

You lasted a whole minute? 30 seconds was more than enough for me!

If she was the best person for our CEO I dread to think what the worst was like.

I may have to watch, listen and hopefully stay awake for the next time, in-order to take in all the things she isn't saying. For now, though, she is mostly talking about the future as if it were now (volume-white-lies-wise). Also, she is talking up RMs inability to meet a more competitive criteria, falsely based on its lack of modernised / mechanical, and or, technical processes to what our competitors are able to do now, which is a total load of bollix!

Really, this is only for the consumption of her Canadian advocates. Most peeps, over here, when (unfortunately) they get a load of her will see right through her, but by that time it may be too late. We have got to put this privatise us at all costs on the back burner until all parties realise what a crock of sh*t this will all mean to all and sundry. Of course we need a more modern postal system, but we're not fugging robots -- we're human. Just because RM are sh*t doesn't mean we should be sold off to the first sh*ttiest outfit. Fug 'em I say. We deserve much better than the sh*t that's already out there.

This Moya what's-her-face-Greene has been brought in, then, to pave the way for a clear transitioning of a public service that has been contemptuously turned into a fake business, so that all who was ever involved in its evolution could finally turn their backs on everyone and abandon ship. It's taken her six months for this? Six months then, of creating a fantasy world (with real money) so that it can be sold (the idea) to everyone?

Makes you wonder how awkward it might have been if they had brought in someone who already was familiar with the subject, and then had to convince themselves that any of this privatisation nonsense made any real sense! :evil/mad
We posties do things differently, but we still get shot at!

She's familiar with Asset Stripping, in 3 different Companies. That's not the same as having ANY idea how such Companies need to work, if they're to be successful in the long term. :hmmmm She's just another, in a long line of her kind (Leighton, Crozier, etc.). And will no doubt leave, as things get worse, so that another can come in to "save" RM. It's truly pathetic, than so many people are taken in by their kind. :d'oh! :arrrghhh
