Hi everyone

Post by thebandit »

I was looking for some info concerning Royal Mail and came across this site. I'm on several forums and never thought there would be one for posties. Great stuff.

I was a postman in Derby for a few years and have lots of pics and memories which I have written about from time to time in my local paper. Hopefully I'll be able to post some up on here, now, too.

Regards, Dave.
PS. There's a gallery on my website that may be of interest - that's if you like pics of postboxes!

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Cheers for the welcome POSTMAN. Afraid it wasn't always good driving. This incident some years later clearly a case of Post traumatic stress!
