stop buying the sun

Post by moanalot »

I think we should adopt the same approach as the people of Liverpool by not buying the sun newspaper! This paper owned by Murdoch who also owns sky television of which Leighton resides on the board, has made no attempt to put the postal workers and unions view across and has basically sided with Leighton when reporting the dispute(NOT SURPRISED!)
If just 30,000 posties and families stopped buying the sun that would mean a lost of £14,000 a day £84,000 a week up to nearly £1,000,000 a year!
Buy the mirror at lease it looks as if they our on are side.

I have never bought the Sun. It's shite. Don't understand how anyone could buy it.
Apart from that don't forget how they sacked their workforce when they moved to Fortress Wapping.
My uncle lost his job then. Had to get a job as a security guard, and died of a heart attack a couple of years later. I blame Murdoch for the stress he put on him.

And who sit`s on the Murdoch `Sky board`? none other than `Guess Who, Mr Leighton, and how much stress is he putting US under. It seems these `Tycons` of business do not care about anyone other than themselves and PROFITS.

I stopped buying it the day they printed the headline 1 DOWN 4 TO GO. It was in relation to the brazillian that was shot at Stockwell tube station and his supposed involvement in the terrorist attrocities. Of course, they didn't wait for any official line, he was one of them and deserved to die. When the truth finally did come out, they did their best to discredit the man saying he was here illegally...
Don't forget they were 100% in favour of the Iraq war too....

Oh and before I forget, their owner is a sleaze merchant who owes this country millions upon millions of pounds worth of tax, but you can always judge a man by the friends he keeps anyway... Mr. Leighton...
Glasgow driver.

Q. Who exactly are the Competition?
A. People who'll post a letter for you.

We've never bought it because it's a Tory rag. My mum wouldn't have the News of the World in the house either.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

I don't mind being played with. Even if is costs me money. (not like that!) At least they don't tell me bare-faced lies.
