Just back from the picket line and pleased to say our office is 100% out. Would like to have seen more on the picket especially after recent events. Get your arses down to the picket line and show solidarity for those out unofficially and losing more than a days pay. This is not a day off, your on strike.
Rep had BBQ on again so I was well fed. He's doing a great job.

Scottish Unofficial Action
Also just back from glasgow meeting, like blackdog voted against but have to go with majority.
It was a unique occassion where a union negotiate about strike action with no one ,as Royal Mail refuse to talk, and still manage to talk us into going back to work I am still stunned

As a result of this, I believe a Newcastle rep was suspended for refusing to handle the Glasgow mail at Tyneside MC. As a result, Tyneside walked.ajohnstone wrote:Just home from picket 2am and edinburgh mail centre is still solid . 3 Dundee 600s , one Stirling and one Newcastle scabbed while i was there . Can they not understand the concept of solidarity and that no office should handle scab blacked mail as Edinburgh refused to do when RM tried to transfer Glasgow mail to us . Its our only means of unity and defence against being picked off one office at a time .

Just back from Edinburgh Mail Centre and the place is bursting at the seams. Never seen so much mail, even at xmas.
We had a collection in our office for one of the drivers who turned back at our picket line last week and had his pay docked. Hopefully it will help make up the money stolen off of him by Royal Mail.
