SUN / BH collections to end 30 Sept.

Post by deadbox »

Just googled this on H*LLMAIL.....

http://www.hellmail.co.uk/GH_ShowArticl ... D=645&KW=e

Although I don't perform SUN / BH collections...This is another way RM is hitting us in the WALLET ££££
I was sure I'd seen a bead of sweat on my line manager the other day - Until I realised that he had just brushed past me too close

I wonder which customers they canvassed - probably all businesses that don't work Saturday or Sunday - another example of "if it's something the man in the street needs - we'll get rid of it" Okay - when they want extra collections on Sundays at Christmas - I hope there are plenty of managers available to do it.

The site where that story originated is definitely anti union and pro Royal Mail Management so take the things it says with a pinch of salt.

the sunday and b/h collections have been a target for cost cutting for a while now and is one of the smaller strings that the union would probably have bargained away anyway,i would not be suprised to see them ended asap as they collect very little mail for the costs involved, and it is ususally social mail in which rm have little mail

Isn't that the site where one of the Admin (might have been a moderator) said the German Army played the British Army during WW2 at football? Wrong war, you dense sod! I keep saying they're thick, and one way or another, they keep on proving it.
