Rumours that Krang and Shredder were members of the Iglesia Maradoniana are as yet unconfirmed.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

The question begs,*if* i was a colleague of certain faith, would i be entitled to have every Saturday off work?,because its against said religion to work on a Saturday??
Allegedly, at our main office, a new starter ( presumably of the Jewish orthodox faith ) will be joining, and he has said that he CANNOT work on Saturdays, and ( the story goes ) local management have tried to avoid hiring, but senior management has forced it through...now I know every office, has Mon-Fri duties but they tend to need years of seniority to earn them, and for any reserve not getting 1 in 6 every Saturdays off, have they any right to a grievence? Isn't there a reasonable case to refuse employment on the basis that his Sabbath is a normal working day ( would you employ Maggie Thatcher as an ACAS arbitrator? Or Dennis Skinner as chairman of the CBI? ).

I'm not looking to cause conflict with him, I'd quite cheerfully buy him a bagel from the bagel shop over the road from the office...the sausage or the bacon bagels are the dogs bo**ocks!

Is that really such a problem?!!
I'm also Jewish (non-Orthodox), so I'm more relaxed about Sabbath observance, but I still go to a Liberal Synagogue in London when I can......I would love to have every Saturday off, for that reason!
Based on the fact that the majority of the workforce are nominal Christian, if not practising, they can be able to attend church on a Sunday if necessary - why should Muslims and Jews be disadvantaged from observing their Sabbaths?!
Muslims would quite appreciate Fridays off and Jewish workers, Saturday. Why not?

Won't work, business practices here is very different from the Middle east, its all worked round a Monday to Friday with Saturday in some employments, some even work 24/7 like the emergency services and the Armed forces, if you start giving way to one faith , you will have to accommodate everybody else, you can't please everybody, it will cause resentments and conflict, the Secular way is the only way, if you don't want to work Saturday or Friday don't apply for the job in the first place or relocate to a Country that does have that as part of their Culture.
