Great post Sharkeyes .
We need to get the message across to all who have joined the Royal Mail and have reapped the rewards for all our fights over the years. I have 18years service and know how well paid Royal Mail is compared to competitors. For all postmen thinking the door to door was a rough deal and wont support the union again,you will look back on this day and think how petty a moan that was when the new contracts are sent to us after 12months of privatisation..
For all comments stating " it cant be much worse than what we have now!"..Wake up ffs you muppets.
Ill support the union all the way. The union is only as strong as the people in it ,and its looking to me like we have a load of wimps. I know the 2010 agreement was a rough deal and the union should not of sold out for such a rough deal,but mailcentre staff are facing massive job losses not just a loss of £20 a week in door to door payments.
