Even if they do they wont get the actuall change in ownership untill next year.

The previous governmnet left the current government a ready made postal services bill, all it needs is a bit of tweaking and hey presto the government are ready to rock and roll.

The house of lords debated the PSB last year and it passed all the way through, so it wont take too long for a new PSB to work its way through as it will be very similar to the previous one.

Dave Ward and his team of morons have stitched us up good and proper. The only outcome for posties from the travesty that is "2010 & beyond," is a more difficult job with poorer conditions to match, the real aspirations held by the vast majority of postal workers with a modicum of sanity, will not be met in any way, shape, or form.
As for the money dangled like a carrot for donkeys to lap up, I know some colleagues that would sell themselves a lot shorter than that, given half a chance.

If they were sensible enough to track down a copy of the agreement and read it I would agree with you the "bung" was not good enough. Unfortunately, with the CWU not sending out a copy and strongly recommending the deal with the ballot papers most focussed on the "financial" rewards. Only now are some realising that the windfall was a Pyrrhic one.
