It does not matter what you think of the CWU,their agreements (which THE MEMBERS voted for),your rep, your branch, your division,Billy,Dave,NEC,PEC,the list seems endless.
It's about stopping it,end of!
their agreements(which THE MEMBERS voted for) stop there! (THE NON DELIVERY MEMBERS voted for). anyway every royal mail employee this time, if a ballot is called, need to stick together and fight for everyones jobs and pensions
lol.I think you'll find the DO posties outnumber ALL the others that BOTHERED to vote by around 2 to 1,so how'd you work that one out? :d'oh!
same as it ever was...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

:mad As far as i'm concerned the union and management can sink as we have been sold down the river so many times in the past! Regarding the sell-off, this has been on the cards for a long time now, I wonder why there has been so much drastic cost cutting in the recent past? In our delivery office we have been covering six rounds for no extra pay for some time now and i'm sure like any office the morale is rock bottom. I just hope from a personal point of view I get offered redundancy!

”The non-Delivery members voted for"?
What are you on?
There aren't ENOUGH non-Delivery Posties to have voted it in! :arrrghhh  And even if there were, we wouldn't have voted for more 70+ mile round trips to work, the WCM farce, etc.. :arrrghhh

Stop looking for scapegoats, and face reality! The deal couldn't have been voted in, unless the majority of Delivery Posties who could be bothered to vote, voted for it. Stop blaming everyone else, and face reality! I only know of 4 people who voted for this crap. And they were only interested in the money. Just look back at how many people mythered about the money on here. Too many people are only bothered about short term financial gain. And what's worse, is RM know it, and exploit it. :hmmmm
Don't knock Insanity
it's just another outlook on Reality!

I will walk to stop the rich getting richer at the expense of me, my mates at the do, the posties elsewhere that share this common bond and the people of the UK who will never find out how s**t it will be until it's too late.
I have lost a lot of faith in the CWU but it isnt about them. It is about a much loved service that could so easily be fixed without selling us off. F*cking tossers :evil/mad
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.

my faith in the cwu has been steadily eroded over many years, however if we fail to resist the government this time then thousands of us will be looking for new jobs in the not too distant future.....what choice do we have?

Been here long underpaid? There has been 60,000 job losses in 9 years, pay has been cut, the pension has been cut and the retirement age increased to 65, we stand to lose another 24,000 jobs in the next 3 years and the workload is almost intolerable..........................and that was with National strikes..............and the CWU.......so hey lets stick together some more
