Something to do with trawlers & seagulls probably :Very Happy
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.

If its part-privatised its likely that a new regime will come in that wipes out the present agreement entirely. Not uncommon in takeovers for employees to have to reapply for their own jobs and on different terms.

Unlikely NT...if you read Hooper's report he believes that the need for outside expertise is no longer as relevant.
It is far more likely with the state of the economy and lack of interested "strategic partners" that an IPO would be used to sell us off.
No scary new regime,no "take over" and no tearing up of contracts....i thought you were a bit old for scare stories. :no no :chuckle

I like the way Hooper says about Postconn through no fault of their own .... and doesn't seem to repect the commercial expertise of such luminaries as Little Croakier and Labour diehard Allan Leighton.Makes me laugh and didnt we have a large injection of cash albeit a loan to go with the expert commercial nous that came with Batman and Robin. And now of course we need the expert help that only a company headed by another so-called expert can provide.Quick check in the ex -Mars trainee handbook should provide a new face...only kidding.Nepotism keep it in the family son lol

Just as I was getting depressed and hacked off with the Hooper Circus I sought solace in one of Roy Mayall's pieces

which cheered me up instantly.

If all RM needs is a large injection of cash why don't they just grab it back off those greedy bastard executives that have been draining RM funds for years... I'm sure that would be enough! :dance
