A TERRIFIED postie is being forced to flee her round after being attacked by crazy seagulls.

The raging gulls dive-bomb 21-year-old Mary Nolan as she tries to deliver mail to homes on her regular route.

Mary, who has been a postie for just four months, got the fright of her life when they swooped and started to peck wildly at her.

She has had her hair pulled by the big birds twice in the past week and customers have been warned their mail wonâ€™t be delivered when she comes under attack.

Mary, who has had to abandon her round on occasions, said: â€œIt has been going on for two weeks. Yesterday and the day before they came down at me and their talons caught in my hair.

â€œOne of them came down so fast I didnâ€™t really see it, but managed to duck. Then it doubled back to get me. I got the fright of my life, and there have been a few times I havenâ€™t been able to deliver the mail.â€

used to get attacked by birds all the time. think my chat up lines had a lot to do with it though.

Always the same this time of year when the chicks are about,a few years back one of our lads had to have stitches in a head wound caused by the 'Gulls attacking him.

met a couple of evil sods on holiday last year kept atacking us whilst we were having dinner on the beach,got nasty for a while
