I agree with you 100% but it is now going to be difficult to get those offices that are out back at work...It has been farcical at times at the MC also with some drivers crossing our lines because they had a letter from Branch Sec. saying it was allright.

At the end of the day a trade unionist does not cross a picket line wether its official or not!

I was at the meeting today the same one as Blackdog .

And what i heard today was that drivers with letters going through picket lines were still getting abuse and laughed at .

Thats what I mean by everyone being at one anothers throats due to different functions being out on different days. If we had all gone together same as the last two this would not have happened.
Yes feelings were running high as some vans were refusing to go in and some were driving through..one nearly hit a couple of pickets he was driving so fast.

The CWU should have known it would go pear shaped. It was only a matter of time before someone refused to cross a line turning it into an unofficial stike
I for one wont be crossing anyones line so unless Glasgow MC go back in it will rumble on. Lets at least hope the rest join in on Wed

Royal Mail, fail everyone again...........

What a surprise , a clear message is sent out to our brothers and sisters in Scotland from RM management , 'We despise
you , we despise your union , we despise your belief in yourselves to influence the future.' Despicable RM management have
also stuck two fingers up at the Scottish public who now see a service under suspension , and why ? So RM management
can attempt to intimidate workers in the most disgraceful manner , so they can harrass workers over a matter of coscience,
so they can IMPOSE their vision for OUR futures. Well , we've had the glimpse into a future full of intimidation , harrassment,
fear , and as Lamebrain quaintly puts it, 'Cracking on' , and together with one resoundingly clear voice, every postal worker in
Britain joins with their Scottish comrades in roaring , 'COME ON THEN , BRING IT ON , WE'RE READY , WILLING , AND ABLE, TO
SEE YOU OFF, ONCE AND FOR ALL.' :cool

we should all have gone out on strike at the same time then no one would have to cross picket lines unless they were a scab. crystal clear to me

If this totaly justified unofficial action spreads as far south as London , I'll be out in support of you lads / lasses in
Scotland.

To me , those three simple words , UNITY IS STRENGTH ,really do mean what they say. :Very Happy

As i said earlier, this could be it.
According to some sources,Manson (RM Sector Manager) was pulling his hair out of his head in anger, the reason being that Royal Mail will get fined for unofficial action affecting the quality of service, when they wont get done for official action, anyway it's all out of our hands things should happen one way or another in the next few minutes,oh to be a fly on the wall at Edinburgh airport.
,What this does show is that a lot of our colleagues in Glasgow are ready willing and able to bring the mail system to a halt, and if that is reflected in the rest of Royal Mail then we should win this and if any pickets arrive at Dunfy D.O the morra here's one postie who wont be crossing no line, official or unofficial. And once again I dont give a flying Feck if RM Dum's are looking on this forum.

I'm only down the road mate, but I've heard nothing. I'll ask our area rep in the morning and let you know.
