Hello guys,
I am a h&s rep and wanted to know if there is a policy in place for my colleagues hygiene 98 per cent of them are drivers not the normal letter/driver collection
where they can after a few hours return to their office and have a wash.we here are out on the road for on avg 6-7 hours this duty also includes visiting various places on avg 20 handling all sorts of items and thought that it would be a reasonable request for hand cleaning tissues to be given to each driver on start of their duties this fell obviously on deaf ears so my argument next time will be we have no means of cleaning how hands before eating and this would benefit the business it could reduce sick at work cost just one employee cost would pay for these wipes
so if anyone one has any more info or comments, by the way, we do have our 45 min break.
