I think that's great. It's nice to see the tradition of the student agitator is alive and well. The spirit of CND and the anti-Vietnam war protests lives on!

Hmmmmmm - grateful for the support of the NSU - not too keen on the CND and anti-Vietnam allegory - I was in the Army and in the far east when all those protesters were about and believe me it was a passion killer. When the chicks found out what you did for a living - you could hardly lie - everyone was walking about with hair down to their arse - it was good night Vienna - I even tried saying I'd just got out of prison!!!!!

That was the 'skinhead' look at the time. It was only in the late 70s when skinheads re-appeared they had their hair down to the wood. Apart from a spell around 1973-74, I've always gone for the very short hair and in recent years have bought a home barbers kit. Once a week on the shortest setting and the grey is gone!

I left the army in 73 having married the year before let my hair grow, moustache pancho villa style and apart from the wife still had trouble pulling chicks.

The support from students up and down the country is most welcome.

I was at a gig last night and the students there told the crowds to support the posties with the strike - nice one!
