La Senza names Yodel as new delivery partner

Yodel, the business formerly known as Home Delivery Network, has won a two-year distribution contract with lingerie chain La Senza.

Yodel will deliver about 400,000 parcels each year to customers buying La Senza products online. Deliveries include next-day, 48- and 72-hour services, as well as Saturday deliveries. All deliveries will be supported by track-and-trace technology.

Sean Pine, distributions director at La Senza, which operates a DC in Hayes, Middlesex, says: "Yodel was selected based on its extensive range and flexibility of services, as well as its key delivery contracts for major brands."

Since HDNL's acquisition of the domestic B2B and B2C companies of DHL Express (UK) earlier in the year, Yodel says it is now the second-largest parcel delivery business in the UK after Royal Mail.
