Track & Trace

Post by leeroy5312 »

Hi i posted a parcel on 02/06/2010 and the track & trace area on the site and it still says its been progressed through our network for delivery.
Does this mean it still hasnt been delivered?

Maybe maybe not.

5 Days - if it was a recorded the system may not yet have been updated to show it has been delivered.

Or delivery was attempted but no one was there to sign for it and the postie left a card - if so it will be waiting for the receiver to either collect it or arrange redelivery.

It may also have been refused on delivery and is on its way back to you via the return address you put on the reverse.

------------------------ There is also a less likely final position in that the Postie did not do the job correctly and delivered it without signature and in that case the T&T number will never be updated

Sorry not much use but at least you are aware of most of the things that could have happened to it. I hope it has been or will be delivered correctly.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

rule No1 Always put a return address on the reverse of parcels/letters it makes our job easier if an item is wrongly addressed or severly damaged to return or contact sender, even if its only your house No & postcode it all helps
