Yer rotten shower of gets! Fancy saying all dat stuff about stopping the akkers goin' ter der Labour Party la? Youse don't know yiz are born! I remember wen Maggie was de 'ead serang lad! Let me tell yez, dere was ozzies closin' down, an' skools gettin shut down all over der show. We waz on the bones of our arses until Blair (may dey make dat lad a saint sum day!) tuk over de cuntry an' started ter do a proper job wid everyfing. Of course 'e sold out the dockers, but dat was an acceptable price ter 'ave ter pay fer de modernization of dem ports in Kent an' 'ere in me own back yard. A'rite, dey say 'e follers George Bush an' dat, but he waz always a frend of de werkin' man. 'E'd be welcum on de kop enytime by me! A course, 'e might get wellied by everyone else, but I tink 'e's great. As fer Brown, 'e's a good sosherlist, jus like meself. 'E carnt do everyfing all at once like, yer know, but 'e's the lad ter put tings right in dis country. Dere is no way I'll be stoppin' the poke goin' ter de Labour Party la! No friggin' chance er dat 'appenin' at all. So in conclusion, up der werkers! Yoonited we will stand! See yer la! I'm off for a few bevvies in der Big 'ouse on Lime Street wid Gordon. Get de ale in la!

new labour the best consertive goverment this country as ever seen
all i want is a decent cost of living pay rise where my pay and conditions are not threatened everyday i turn in for work
2.5% is an insult when the labour govt and royal mail fat cats have been creaming of this industry and our union for years
if thats browns answer he can whistle for my vote at the next election and the cwu should pull the funds out also :lfo :cfo

Maybe if the government added houses prices to inflation we would get a true picture of what the cost of living real is. Try buying a house nowadays on a posties pay. But working class people can't even get on the property ladder because the middle classes buy all the traditionally first time buys and rent them out. They have done very well out of New Labour and once again a Labour leader has given the two fingered salute to the workers. Remind me why we pay them out of our union dues?
Down with the blackleg, all workers unite.
