David Cameron and Nick Clegg should back off from Post Office privatisation now before it's too late

Selling off the Royal Mail is the old Tory politics of privatisation with a dash of Lib Dem free market zeal.
David Cameron and Nick Clegg have learned nothing by picking a needless fight over the Post Office, a great British institution valued in communities across the land.
If the leaders of the ConDem coalition were seeking an issue to unite rural shires and cities against them, they've found it in the Royal Mail.
Margaret Thatcher sensibly left it alone. John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown all received bloody noses by toying with Post Office privatisation.
Cameron and Clegg should back off now before it's too late.
A professional decorator couldn't paper over the cracks in the latest fancy document. Difficult issues were parked in commissions instead of confronted. And the grumbles on the Conservative and Liberal Democrat benches are already loud and very public.
Choreographed displays of unity cannot hide trouble ahead for Cameron and Clegg, Westminster's Odd Couple.

By voting yes to the 2010 agreement people were voting for privatisation, RM & the CWU are joined at the hip, the deal was easing things into place for a sell off. We will all be told that there is NO PLAN 'B'
Prepair for a sweetner of £5K in shares to ease the deal through the CWU's fained limited resistance ( a side show for public consumption )

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
