Postal Worker Survives Gunshot to Head

http://www.wane.com/Global/story.asp?S=6814478

(Kosciusko County - WANE) A mail carrier is doing fine, after being shot in the head.

Danelle Trier has been a mail carrier for about a year. She says on June 30th, while delivering the mail on her normal route, something came in her open car window and hit her in the head. Blood ran down her neck and that's when she went to the hospital.

At first she thought maybe it was a stray ball from neighborhood kids playing that had struck her but when she got to the hospital officials told her that was not the case. Trier said she was shocked when they announced to her she had been shot. They revealed a .22 caliber bullet that had been lodged behind her ear.

Police checked out the area where Trier had been when she was shot. They say a 17-year old male was shooting at squirrels around the time of the shooting. They confiscated a .22 caliber rifle from the young man and have filed it has evidence at the Kosciusko Sheriff's Department.

The county prosecutor's office has yet to decide how it will handle this case.

The American Post Office workers that Deliver or drive have a Pepper spray that is used IF they are attacked or threatened... At least they have something to protect themselves with.. Im not up for all posties carrying a AK47 on duty but all we have is a Number for the P.O.I.D. Old I.B. And they will come out after your laying in your own blood and D2D's (wot u aint being paid for) NICE!!!!!

But me thinks the pepper spray would be used on the screws more often than not... Well we could use it on the strike breakers. MMMMMMMMMM!
No guv.. it just went off on its own all by its self... Shame that scab bastard got it straight in the mush.. aint it!!!  :d'oh!

Did you know if you kill a pheasant with your car you have to leave it on the road for 1/2 hour but after that you can have it away. Road Kill pheasant is quiet good actually. Did a survival course in forces for a couple of days and you won't believe what we had to and did eat on it.

Are you allowed to put a barrier round it to stop it getting too tenderised? What are the rules for running over peasants - or do I have to email Allan Leighton for that answer? I like pheasant but for some reason always seem to get the bit with the lead shot in it, maybe they should run them all over and save a few dentists bills.

No let more cars run over it It gets better the more cars go over it. Although de feathering and skinning is a bit tough afterwards.
