If you have some savings with the CWFS for a least a year you can get a loan up to £1250.
It's well easy, comes straight out of your wages, you never miss it.
Think its just under £30.00 week.
But you have to of saved with them for a year.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Seems like a good plan, but what is the point of MDEC being out on the Saturday surely they would have been better for a Wednesday and a Thursday to cause most disruption.

A & A won't be able to ignore this action
The weekend strike for mdec is so that there will be disruption to weekend sorting. At present they flood with temp staff to clear backlog, they cannot do this during official i/a.

one point we keep missing is that we all asume these two give a sh?t and are not just waiting to either win when we run out of resolve or get pushed out by someone with an effin great pay out pleading the govt tied our hands and it wont happen in our next big job

However they have just recruited 50 temps (Reed Agency, Plymouth) to backfill teams, strangely its only for 12 weeks and not xmas.

So they will be offered o-t for weekends, less wages to pay.

Our DSM told us the regulator isn't penalising RM for failure on strike days. This must be cos the government's told the reg. not to, and so is supporting the bosses. Is this true (may not be cos the DSM's a lying bas) if so should we write to our MP or what?

Yep.....i am afraid thats true, the regulator is the goverment in all but name, biggest thorn in our side, did you know that if a competitor goes to one of our existing customers and undercuts us,we are not allowed to do the same for 24 months to gain that customer back.

Get rid of postwatch/postcom elbow the USO and level the playing field(sorry to be repetitive,i know its been said before)then we can get down to bussiness again.
