I know we are all worried about our jobs and what Crozier and Leighton are doing but the union are not getting our side of this support out to the public at large. Many members of the public are not even aware at times that we are striking simply because the 1 day strikes do not delay their mail to any great extent.
I have attached the e mail address of a simpathetic journalist at the Sunday Mail, if we tell the media our side perhaps they will tell the public. Incidently her e mail address is printed everyweek at the end of her collumn so its public knowledge.

NOT ONLY THE GOOD PEOPLE ON DELIVERYS SHOULD BE DOING THE JOB TO THE BOOK WE ALL SHOULD. DRIVERS ONE YORK AT A TIME NO RACING ROUND COLLECTIONS ETC. IN DOOR STAFF DONT BE PALLY WITH THE GOONS IN CHARGE, TREAT THEM WITH THE CONTEMPT THERE DESERVE. WEIGH ALL THE BAGS YOU TIE UP, SORT AT YOUR OWN PACE.

This is vital in our campaign however in many delivery office finishing early is a way of life, to get this message across to all RM staff will take a lot
of continuous effort, from local reps and other militant staff who understand the reasons behind this. Whats happend to direct mailings from the union, they seem too have been forgotton, this is weaking the resolve of some staff as they feel isolated and out of contact with the executive.

Hope the labour government is going to back the working class ! i dont seem to notice
much support from them so far. i am a trade unionist and a unit rep in the C.W.U.
Gordon brown should remember that the "LABOUR " party was founded by the
trade unions

Right behind all of you on this one. Only one question, does Leighton & Crozier really not like the strike action?? I think they will now make all sorts of excuses to close offices and cut jobs, blaming it on the strike!!!!!
