Its best to set up a relationship with your manager in writing. Politely ask him/her to respect your privacy and to make all communications in writing. State how much you love your job and it is your most heartfelt wish to return to work as soon as your medical advisers recommend you do so. Finish by promising to provide a weekly email update on your recovery.

Don't attend any meetings if possible. They will only try to get you to verbally agree to go to ATOS.

I guess I'm opening an old post here but here goes...

What do you do when RM ignore a specialist report paid for by RM , ignore your own GP requesting assistance for your problem which has been made worse by RM ignoring the specialist report , your DOM doesn't make an ATOS appointment when one has been promised and requested, you can't make one yourself (unless you go through the personal line for counselling which isn't what you need) and this has gone on for years?

Who else can one contact re RM ignoring the problems you have other than ACAS and Equality and Human Rights Commission (who can only advise anyway) and HSE?

Your case seems all to familiar.
sorry but the only way is to raise a grievance with your concerns(which will be swept under the carpet) and then taking them to a tribunal when they ignore them.

Already done that - got the tee shirt. Have tried putting B&H in against RM as they're crippling me but Gateway just throw them back at me. Got 2 outstanding grievances already which they won't deal with.

Then progress it to an ET,thats the only thing that gets things moving sometimes with these fools.

I want to go to ATOS then maybe something will happen as nothing happens with talking or by letters or every means I have tried and can come up with!!

You might have to wait a very longtime for the CWU to 'kick that off.'
