One of my ex colleagues, who also took early retirement last year, has just emigrated to Prague. He used to work and live there before returning to England in the 1990's and joining RM, and his son lives out there now.

It looks like being quite funny.Obviously a knowledge of Czech or a near-related language would be essential .CT1 the Czech equivalent of BBC1 is I believe now broadcasting live on the net so this would be of interest to posties here of Czech nationality or descent.I hope your friend enjoys it.

Poste Restante is also the name of an award winning short film by acclaimed documentary film maker Marcel Lozinski
about the Polish Postal service ( won best European short film award 2009)

Hi Plain Pat perhaps we need a new mini-section for postal related films ,songs , books and their authors such as our own "Bukowski" Roy Mayall.etc.
A sort of South Bank for the postie as artist.
