Hello folks, I'm hoping that someone could answer a simple question for me. Are Parcelforce delivering on Monday 28th December?
The reason I ask is that I am expecting an important (to me) incoming international delivery and the track and trace facility says it will be delivered on that date. It arrived in the UK on Christmas eve and is now at the Bristol depot. As I understand it, most of the Royal Mail are off until Tuesday so I can't see it being delivered Monday unless Parcelforce are working then. The recorded message when I ring Bristol says they are closed today (26th) because of the bank holiday, which lends credence to the idea that they have had today off and are working Monday after all. Either way, I'm confused and the Parcelforce website doesn't help because they didn't think to mention the Christmas hours at all. The actual date of delivery is important to me because I will be in to receive it Monday, but not Tuesday, and I don't want it left with neighbours etc.
Thanks for any help and Merry Christmas to all. As a normal member of the public I genuinely appreciate you folks who walk the streets in all weathers to deliver the mail.
