We had a bloke at our place who did the same.
He was apparently doing it for 2 weeks but the DUMs
reckon he might of being it for at least 5 years
He was also always at the bookies and always had a big f**k off
cigar in his mouth
He got away with because they could only prove that he had 3 or 4 cards
What amazes me is that people complain and complain about not receiving
cards, and management don't do f**k all
i had told the manager about not receiving cards and rang customer services
and they do f**k all.
He was going in a 4am and going through all the code sorted mail looking for cards and putting them in his own slot
what a twat.
The thing that really pisses me off is that the c*** is now working at John lewis, so somebody said.
how the f**k did he get a job their, after going too court and s**t.

somebody had wrote into John lewis saying that he used too be a postman and he got the sack for stealing.
so justice at last!!!!

First case was a ram raid which looked like a inside job , by astonishing coincidence a night shift manager with "colourful commitments" and allegedly under suspicion was "promoted" "coincidentally" after Police enquiries. A Shift manager actually tried to chase after the armed robbers which I'm sure was entirely selfless, nothing to do with the MCM who wanted him potted for his alleged "refuelling issues". Previously the IB had said there was no case to answer about that £40,000. Somebody did get prosecuted for secreting in the locker., so everything's all right then!
Second was a Asian lady and her stealing coloured envelopes , £80,000 all told. The case was reported in the Star. Express & Mail. She got 15 months.
"To make amends" the IB put coloured dye and filmed a manager stealing £coins that had fallen from the mail after going through the CFC, the manager was frequently off the floor with a fondness for fruit machines. He was frogmarched off by the IB , when questioned about the box of £ coins , he said he collected them. The IB gave him the option of resign or we'll prosecute after the local rag got "mysteriously " tipped off. He was sacked & the IB took out a private prosecution , the court case kept getting delayed "due to illness", his solictor advised him to finally plead guilty when he was threatened with the case going to Crown Court. " Royal Mail Manager escapes Prison for £42" was the local rag headline.
His non union son was moved to a outstation & 15 more hours as he was "being harassed" , he said I'll never forgive people for what they did to my dad , I hate them and the union have gone too far pinning a press cutting up . Management have "respect" for him as his dad wasn't that bad just unlucky. However his wife allegedly left him as fruit machines & a postie mistress are a very expensive commitment., allegedly!

As for that Chandan Patel case, how many family arguements, fallouts has she caused ? At least her son had the decency to resign , as ever it's different with managers being bent
