Important package sent 4 weeks ago

Post by Limit »

On the 6th of November, I, a small business owner in Germany, have been sent a package. I have no tracking number whatsoever because I didn't know about the strikes and the international signed for service never failed before.

Now it is nearly 4 weeks, nothing arrived and I am in debt. there are already two packages on their way and nothing arrives. The second one has been sent exactly a week ago. I don't find an estimation for this kind of delay anywhere.

Can somebody please estimate how long this is going to take? It is really urgent.

All depends on what part of the country it is going and where it first arrived.
But can say a package was sent from Spain to me on the 4th November ad it arrived last wednesday, hope that helps..

Dear Limit ,
I notice you are from Germany.RoyalMailChat recently had an enquiry from a German customer regarding a company.
The posters name was resteportal2009 and his post can be read in this forum.
This of course may not be connected to your situation.
It would help if you could say when and which part of Britain the items were posted from and how they were sent, whether a signature was required in Germany and if they were insured .Were they definitely sent Airmail ?Were they definitely sent by Royal Mail and not by another courier. With such information someone more expert than me would hopefully be able to help you further.
Regards Wessex.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I'm sorry but this is an absolutely different situation. Thanks for the link anyway.

Can I send royal mail an email to which they reply? Their usual support mail is down (which is a really, really bad sign for a company to say the least) and I guess if I call one of the numbers displayed on the support page, I will speak to an answering machine anyway.
