Re: Quit
Ha yeah, had my stage 3 interview recently just waiting for result, but after this period of worry i have come around to thinking f**k it, already applied for numerous jobs and sure i may take a pay cut, but i will happily take on 2 jobs instead of working with the company any longer, so sick of the s**t we have to deal with, i want my life back. will let you know my result when i do but no doubt i wont be here much longer either way and you know what, i coudnt be happier knowing that.

Re: Quit
This month is hell for me. My knee is struggling.
I want out of royal mail as well, but I don't know what job I want to do. I hope to do something for environment and work outdoors and earn decent money.
If I could get a walk of my own and decent workload I would be ok, but it is tough for full time reserve. I mean they tend to try to get 10 hour work out of 8.
Only thing I would miss is working with friends and floating week off perk. I want something else so I can enjoy salsa dancing through the nights and not worry about early starts.

Three of our younger posties all with between 7 & 10 years service, all good lads who did put quite a lot of hours in, most of it ghosting hours, have given their notice, seems the clocking in & opportunity to earn overtime & any forthcoming changers don't suit?
Can't blame them good luck

I hadn’t noticed it was 13 years old! Reads like it was November just gone
