in work time learning this morning we have just been told that 6-7 am starts will be in our office starting on the 1st august no questions asked !!!!!!!!!! also that all indoor overtime is sopped so if they want us to work our day off we only get paid for outdoor work [delivering] the preping will be done by those who should be on IPS if we dont want to come in to deliver our walks on our day off then AGENCY staff will be brought in to deliver the mail!!!!!!!!!! what is the union stance on this as our rep is on hols at the moment.
we've been told this is across the northwest delivery area. seems to me the strike was a waste of our money.

Last time we had agency staff in our office they left mail outside the gates, in pouch boxes (one bag stayed there over a week before it was found) and one bloke was seen stuffing mail down a drain - that one made the news.

THIS is the kind of thing the public should be made aware of. It seems we can't have a pay rise, but RM can pay up to £14 per hour for agency staff!

We used them ONCE and they left the pouches at the sub post office and went home

This week we have taken everything out & the office is all clear, we then bring three thirds to half the walk back & the agency staff then take it back out & deliver about a quarter, then we chuck it back in the morning, eat, sleep repeat everyone happy
