Hi all,
I actually found this site whilst looking for information on how long 1st class / small packets are taking to arrive these days (I have been waiting about two weeks for a small packet, sent 1st class, and another around a week).
Whilst I don't support the current industrial action in any way / shape / form, on a personal level as a customer, I have never had any problems with my postal delivery in Redhill (even when they caught that Hungarian guy swiping stuff!). Usually, items turn up very quickly and every time I have had a problem, the staff at the local delivery office have bent over backwards to help me.
Politics of strikes / industrial action aside, it's fair to say that I think the delivery office is pretty good which is why I'm surprised my stuff seems to have gone 'walkies' in the system!
Oh well - this looks like a very interesting forum and I hope that any employees who still have a bit of passion for their job don't lose it over this action. Customers might moan, myself included, but I also feel that you're actually doing a pretty good job (at least on a local level!).
Cheers
Neil

Re: Hi folks
Welcome aboard there, neilf.
Let's hope we can float your boat,
And perhaps instill a happy note.
All have an opinion,
About their dominion.
No matter which way goes the vote.
