I hope that more people get fired as a result of this strike,
in a news of the world article it proved that lots of the workers at the depo they investigated are not even doing their jobs and leaving 3 hours early even though there is a build up of delayed packages.
The post office down my street is useless too, i had a parcel delivered there and they say they cant find it even though they only looked for 1 minute.
The same goes with the staff on the London underground that always strike.
The worst thing about it is that when royal mail workers and tube workers go on strike they think they have public backing but everyone really disagrees with them and then theres the thousands of businesses that will loose hundreds of pounds during the week of the royal mail strike.
im just bored so i though i might aswell write this, it probably sound like jiberish, i didnt go over it and ill probably wont be back to check the replies since ill forget i wrote this by tomorrow
our earning are actually up m8....with 50 thousand less staff doing the same volume of work
our top man is the highest paid public servent ever(probably in world history)
managers have had a ten million pound bonus pot.(how much of that did you get walker?)
yet we get pay freeze(i couldnt care less about that)
bullied and harressed into preforming overtime to cover for the lack off staff(thats what i care about)
sack for the smallest reasons beacuse its cheaper that redundancy, which they could never prove, because there postion isnt redundant they just want less staff to do it.(thats what i care about)
legally entitled holiday pay withheld because if you do overtime it volentry, honest(thats what i care about)
health and safty agreements ignored when it suits them(thats what i care about)
later and later starts so eventually we will be able to absorbe the lates collections
hope this helps i even bet if postie looks up your ip address and the original posters they would be the same
