managers £3.000 bonus

Post by koffin kev »

just got back to the compi, i asked the question last night,i have spent the last 24 hrs tryin to to find a manager who will give me an honest answer   just how naive can a body be!!!!!!!!!!
it appears the profile for a manager is the same for the rest of the country as it is here in brum(they can have a labotomy and noone notices the difference) at last, royal mail achieve consistancy in something.
ive been involved in an office revision for two months so have been off my walk and based in the office,i have been observing managers closly, for us posties to up our bonus we need to spend 90mins on the pool table,2hrs on the computer watchin youtube, and atleast 1hr on yer mobile makin sure you have got the most up to date ring tone,so you look really cool to other gaffs when it rings in a meeting!!!!!!

So if all DOM's are getting this £2600 bonus,is this for reaching targets,if they have reached their targets then so have we,where's our bloody bonus, this is so unfair.Pay the man on the ground what he deserves, not the c**nts in the offices who do f**k all. This stinks,Crozier and Lieghton deserve to hang for this, are we not equal,or are we seen as expendable weight.

An acting manager in our office was reported to have received £900 and that from February - I'm not sure as to how the calculations go - I only know we got 0.92p for 12 months of saving.

I'm saving mine for a rainy day - and we've had plenty of those lately.

:funneh :funneh :funneh how f***ing true is that, our manager doesn't have a clue, the idea he is worth £3000 is a joke, one day he didn't even come in and we just ran the place ourself, shows ya we don't need them.

That is an excellent fact, the bonus, they are asking yet more cuts from us for summer savings, divide up walks and take them out on tuesday, and saiing their gong to impose it if we don't agree, so that's gonna be first item on hte agenda at work time learning tomorrow! nice one Dirty harry for digging it out.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Quite a few years ago we did manage without them - they were not allowed to touch the mail at all.

My manager got £1711.

I have to say he deserved every penny. He's a good bloke who treats us fairly. A lot of things RM want to implement he doesn't agree with & he's banged hjeads with his SOM for trying to take the piss out of us many times. He flatly refused to try to bring in the summer savings idea & for this year he won the battle.

Not all of them are bad but a lot of them are from a time when all they had to do to get the job was put their name on a waiting list & wait for the call. We hardly ever see bad managers get fired or let go either. The bad eggs are always the ones getting shuffled around into jobs for the boys such as Pegasus training for the area.
