21 years here - we were offered a day at the races - not sure which race course - I didn't go though as horse racing is not my idea of an entertaining day out!
Also, doesn't everyone with the...err, distinction of 20 years+ get that slim catalogue of gifts to choose from?

Hi and welcome to Givemea transfer and KingTubby 
I refused my 15 year presentation (it was c**p anyway) as we were taking Industrial Action over 'the Employee Agenda' at the time. I wrote to my Mail Centre Manager at the time telling him that I didn't think there was anything to celebrate as conditions were going to deteriorate if that Agenda was implemented. We did defeat it.
I did accept the watch on my 20th year - never had a watch that cost £80 before, but didn't go to the dinner. Don't think I could have stomached it, being in the company of RM Managers.

I wouldn't mind a look at the slim catalogue, anything for free me, well when I say free
I suppose 21yrs devoting my working life to royal mail has cost me something.
Regarding the strike, ours was not a great success to be honest. Let down by the early shift processing people. Quite embarrassing. I can't really adopt the not talking to the strike breakers policy as
I was in the big minority by striking. I'm going to have to check on the chances of a transfer to Middlesbrough.So glad the rest of the country stayed out.
