New 2 the site!!!!!

Hello all. I am a Postie in Wales and i am thankful and pleased 2 c this site set up 4 fellow posties!
I have been in the job 5 years now and as much as i love my job, i do c it going down the pan quickly as time goes by.
Certain things have happened over these 5 years that make me wonder WHY we put up with so much crap at times BUT also there r a small amount of people who have made my time with the company very enjoyable and happy that i am working with RM. (These people have become good friends in and out of work)
I really enjoy the fact i get paid 2 deliver mail and listen 2 my i-pod or radio week in and week out but i do feel under pressure and unable 2 have an opinion otherwise i will b vindicated and i have seen it in the past where some1 has been 'SET UP' and lost their job because they have verbally outed their opinion on certain things. Not the way i looked at the job when i was a bright eyed newbie when i started.

Welcome Postal16 - never forget your not a number your a person . Sometimes it does feel like the KGB run RM especially if you try to voice an independent and non corporate opinion.
