Following the unfair regulatory system used by PostCom to cripple Royal Mail is it now your intention to sell off the postal service?

A few years ago there was a consensus that the Royal Mail should operate on a commercial basis in a competitive market. So that's what we put in place. I believe that fair competition is good for us as individuals and for business. And European rules mean more competition not less. Remember too that the Government has supported the Royal Mail with over £3.5bn investment.
How will old people cope if they lose their lifeline when their local post office closes?

We are ensuring there is a national network of local post offices rather than letting them close on a random basis.

I doubt very much whether any other European country will leave open one of it's National assets to the

of privateers , whose sole motive , whose sole aim , would be to make the maximum amount of profit, for the
benefit of a lardy-arsed
board of directors, and a smidgeon of shareholders , rather than benefit the people , all of the people , of this
nation.
