Even when the figures prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt. That if the Pensions deficit, was removed. We'd be profitable. And of course, as we're currently Government owned: The net profits would go entirely to the Government. Rather than being split between the Government, and a Private Company.

This attempted Privatisation, has NOTHING to do with saving the Royal Mail. But has everything to do, with people lining their own pockets. Let's just hope, that those who are currently opposing the Privatisation. Vote against it, when it comes up for the vote.

Oh, and I know that they've said all along, that they can only take over the Pensions Deficit, if they sell off part of RM. But that's just blackmail! If they can take it on to allow a sell off. Which would result in some of the profits being siphoned off. Then they can also, afford to take it on, when they can pocket ALL the profits. Think about it!

They pocketed the profits all along, and no money was ever invested in modernisation till it was to late that was the problem all along, RM was seen as a government cash cow.

Do you REALLY expect a private Company, to invest anymore than the Government?
They'll probably just asset strip us, and count on the Government keeping it from going under completely, because of the USO.

I can remember a certain Tony Blair taking quite an interest when the Doherty brothers were sacked for bringing RM into disrepute in London .

One or two of them " coincidentally " were reps , there was trouble at a Arsenal European away match , RM maintained they were football hooligans , the brothers said they were using self defence against a mob of mad Turkish football hooligans .

I do remember strikes over the dismissal and RM getting hammered by the tory papers for it , I do know the Union took RM to Tribunal & won over unfair dismissal but RM would not reinstate one of them . One won £125,000 compensation & RM spent a few times that amount on legal fees defending itself over two years .

New Labour's fear was with the team working and way backward 2000 strike was people would throw the winter of discontent at them and they wouldn't get the Tories out after 18 years .

I think it has got a lot to do with Mandy , even Queens that I know , admit certain old queens can be very vindictive , worse than scorned or spiteful women !

The bit about Johnson adds up too , the old scupper this strike for us and we'll look after you number as they'll know that former union leaders aren't exactly at the top of headhunter's lists .

Brown is supposed to have threatened Ward over IA 2007 I'm inclined to believe it , it adds up remember Bottler Brown dithering over the election that never was & New Labour going down in the polls , Hayes ALLEGEDLY has threatened top union officials over the settlement
